I’m a lefty when it comes to shooting. Which pistols are the best fit for us southpaws?

I like pistols with controls that work well for both hands. The Walther PDP felt right to me without having to change my grip in weird ways.

Um.... As a casual observer, I noticed one of my big brothers deputies had an old school Ruger P85-89 style 9mm.. The guy being left handed, the pistol having the type mag release that era Rugers have, and him having lumberjack, bear paw size hands it all seemed to work well for him..

The little I shot a P series Ruger, they worked well enough for me also..
My 5 cents of experience..

Those old Ruger P‑series pistols were tanks!

I've had a couple H&K pistols with ambidextrous controls. Of course, revolvers work for either hand.

I’m left-handed too, and the guns that worked best had ambidextrous controls. A Gen 5 Glock and a VP9 were the easiest for me to handle without messing up the controls.
