Hi everyone! I’m wondering if anyone has some good tips for keeping firearms from freezing in -20° weather. I’m also searching for a reliable carry piece that won’t get caught on my Carhartt. Thanks for any help!

Greetings...

....."Winter"...... Lube..
Over many years of ranching, hunting, guiding, and the like.. The 2 things I have found that worked the best ....for me.... was a mix of 2 parts red ATF fluid, 1 part K1 kerosene... I've also used ...Marvel Mystery Oil... in place of ATF with good success.. The other product I've had ...good enough... success with is 20 wt synthetic motor oil.. Kind of ...old school... things likely compared to todays modern products, but useful and likely a lot cheaper per ounce than many ...wonder... products..
