What's your preferred pistol?

In the world of carry, duty, or competition, it’s long-term reliability that separates the good from the great. From your experience, which pistols have stood the test of time?

I dunno the test of time. I like Ruger revolvers, My favorite 9 MM is a H&K VP9. People still shoot Colt single actions. Even the Civil War Navy's etc. I had a Remington 1858, clone for years. I got tired of the BP mess though and sold it. I gave my grandson my .22 LR SA Colt type pistol. Fun camp gun.

I have 6 variants of the Sig P 320 and 2 P 365's. All 9mm. Carry the 365's and S&W 442 .38 special or a Ruger SP101 in .357 Mag.

My P229 has handled everything from cheap range ammo to some strange defensive loads without any issues at all.
