I'm working my way thru several different .224 bullets in the 40 to 55 grain range for the 22-250. I have 4 different powders I have been playing with too: CFE223, Varget, benchmark and H380. Thus far everything has been shooting very well, even the 40 grain pills being moved along at about 4300 fps. I don't run many of the hot 40s down the pipe, mainly while woodchuck and crow shooting. Its unreal what one of those 40s will do to a chuck or crow.
I'm currently working with three 55 grain bullets, 2 of which are hollow points that I hope to get dialed for some coyote action soon. If this wind will die down enough to finish up on the bench.
Thus far I have not shot a lot at 200 yards, because of wind, but I do need to stretch out and verify a couple loads at 200.
