What’s the Best Range Attire? Avoiding the Tactical Overkill

Been thinking about what to wear to the range lately. I'm not talking about full tactical gear, just the regular clothes you show up in. I've been paying attention to what other shooters have on, and it's kind of all over the place.

So, here's what I've noticed. Camo seems to stick out weirdly for just doing drills or blasting through a few mags. Like, if you're not in the woods, why go full-on camo? Not hating on it; if that's your style, wear it! But it feels a bit extra to me.

I've been sticking to neutral stuff: jeans, plain shirts, and sturdy boots. I mean, comfort is key, and let's be honest, no one wants to be that person in sandals trying to shoot. I feel like I want to blend in, not scream 'I'm here to kick butt' unless it's really called for.

Does anyone else find themselves overthinking this? What do you guys wear? Do you have any thoughts on making range attire more casual? I'd love to hear what works for you.

Absolutely NOTHING "tactical," nor gun-related T-shirts that are supposed to be clever.

Don't dress a boob- you don't need special clothing to go shooting, and you look like a jackass when you stop at Kwik Trip. Any "in your face" political wear is also a no-go, for me. You're not going to change any minds with your double entendre T-shirt, and nobody asked about your political beliefs...

Jeans and a T-shirt are typically fine.

Duluth or Columbia quick-dry fishing shirt and pants are even better yet, when it's hot!
