Went out to a local lake in Minnesota last weekend. The weather was a bit cloudy with a light breeze, which usually gets the fish a bit more active. Targeted some bass with a few different plastics and a chatterbait. Ended up landing a couple decent ones, but missed a few good hits too. Always seems to happen when I get my kid out there with me — he somehow manages to outfish me every time! Anyone else having luck in their spots this year? How are the fish biting for you?
