Duty pistol improvement

Based on what manufacturers have been showcasing recently, are we actually getting real performance enhancements in pistols, or are they just giving us some minor cosmetic updates?

I think most new pistols these days are just small changes and not big game-changers. Better triggers and optic cuts are good but the basics have been good for a long while.

Feels like real upgrades happened but now we’re mostly arguing over refinements, not revolutions, in duty pistols anymore

Yeah some upgrades really matter though, like slides designed for optics or improvements in reliability. But a lot of new models just feel like small tweaks that get hyped up as big changes.
