Curious about these middle cals

I visited the shop the other day and checked out the revolver case and everything seemed to be either .22 or .38. I remember when there were a lot more choices in that middle ground. It made me think about what’s still available these days.
 
Yeah, that middle ground used to be busier. Still some good options out there if you dig a bit deeper, don’t sell it short.
 
It feels like the middle calibers went into witness protection, I used to see them everywhere, now it’s mostly .22s and .38s.
 
Those middle calibers haven’t disappeared, but they’re definitely harder to spot in stores nowadays. The last one I got my hands on in that gap was a .32 revolver, and honestly, it made a lot of sense for training.
 
I noticed that lately too. Cases are jumping straight from .22 to .38 with no middle ground. The only real middle option I still see regularly is .32.
