Currently - S&W model 60."Ladysmith", great little .357 carry gun. Last winter while getting a big round bale I got a coyote with it from the tractor seat- two handed rest on the steering wheel at just over 80 yards. He was headed for the chicken yard.. I was just using factory federal 158 grain round nose 38 Specials, held a level sight picture at his backline over his shoulder, hit him in the center chest.
My boys and I regularly shoot at chicken silhouettes at 100 yards plus with handguns, from a good rest its amazing how well even a short barreled revolver can shoot.
Before I got the Ladysmith, they'd give me a hard time about my carry revolvers... a pair of original 1875 vintage S&W model 1 & 1/2s in .32 S&W short. but those fit easily in my pants or jacket pocket, and I shot plenty of ground squirrels and other yard varmints with them.. though now its hard to see those tiny sights...
