Best 9mm Carry Ammo Recommendations

I've been carrying a Glock 19, and I'm curious about what 9mm self-defense ammo you all swear by. Are hollow points worth the hype? Looking for something reliable for EDC.
 
If I had to choose just one 9mm round for everyday carry, I’d definitely go with the Federal HST 124 grain. It’s super reliable. I love that it expands well and has proven itself in all sorts of tests.
